I decided to post some pics and info about this little one I have been growing! Since this is my last baby, i definately want to savor and remember what it is like to experience this miracle baby! We had already decided that our perfect family of 5 was complete. We had just opened a HUGE chapter in our lives, i went back to work (finally), and was planning on going back to school next fall when Brit went to school. One September day, life was perfectly perfect...I was getting ready in the bathroom when the sweet hubby walked by and said, "Dang Babe, your boobs are HUGE!!" I immediately started crying, because all women know how big those girls get during pregnancy! That is THE ONLY time I am blessed up top. A few days went by, and I took the infamous home test. Of course, it was positive. I called my bestie, Astra, freaking out! She reminded that even if Tony had a heart attack from the shock, I would survive! I waited 6 days to break the news to my hubby. I told him before taking the kids to church on a Wednesday evening, just in case he did not take the news so well!!! He basically had no response, so I left for church. I was a little unsure if he would be here when I got home,or if he left the country to have a nervous breakdown. Not only was he here, he had went and bought a super sweet card! With tears in my eyes, I read the sweet assurance in my husband's words. He truly is amazing, and I knew from this moment on we could withstand anything. He did, however say he was really mad at me. He wanted to be there when i 'peed on the stick'! Next time I'll know...wait there is not gonna be a next time!!!!
Since we were not planning on expanding our family, I only had insurance through the "Indian Doctor". And since this is Mexico......I mean Texas, not Oklahoma, they do not cover maternity. Geeez....am I going to have to deliver this baby in the bathtub? Maybe?? On October 15, my dear friend Justin drove all the way here from Oklahoma to go with me to the Dr....IN OKLAHOMA! She held my hand while we heard the baby's heartbeat, and we got to see Buchanan Baby # 4 for the very first time!!!! This was such a beautiful moment, and I am so glad that she was able to share it with me. Sad that Hubby was not there, but happy to share that with my sweet friend. I found out we were 14 weeks along, and due April 5. Yes folks, note that when I found out I was pregnant, I was 3 months along already! WHO DOES THAT???
