AWWW BABY J!

8 weeks, mastered the smile, and getting a little chubby! This guy...is too cute!!

Hurry up Summer!

While the big kids were at school. Hubby and I took the little kids on a picnic at the park. It was the perfect day, and we enjoyed fruit, a great walk, and fun in the sand. It made me REALLY long for summer days, when the rest of the family can join us!

AMERICAN IDOL

So, we are American Idol fanatics! I have a secret crush on Casey James, and the kids and I decided to go to the Casey James Homecoming event in Ft Worth. It was pouring down rain, but that did not stop us and our rain boots from heading on over! When the limo arrived, my Brookie went a little crazy. She, being a monkey, climbed up a 10 ft tall fence and ran over to the limo. She had the camera, and was following about 50 teenage girls right up to the door! The entire time, she was screaming at the top of her lungs...."Casey Jones, Casey Jones, I love you Casey Jones!!!" She got some awesome shots, from about 4 feet away, that i just had to share!

Big Sister

I was worried in the beginning that Britain would be a tad bit jealous of this baby! She had been told for 3 years that she was the baby! During those terrible 2's I would get her in trouble, and she would say "but i am your baby!" Kind of hard to argue with that one! She is such a great big sister! She LOVES to read to Jackson, and loves to pretend he is "her class" and she is the teacher! I hope she continues to love and teach him as the years pass. I was an only child, so I do no know what sibling bonding is like. I am so grateful to be able to witness it through my amazing children!

Jackson is growing way too fast! Already 4 weeks old! He is trying really hard to smile, has rolled over a few times, and loves to oooohhh and ahhhh when you talk to him!

Broken Heart

Tony took off work to attend Brooklyn's performance at Mayfest. She and I left to get her there early. After an hour of walking around the Trinity River, we finally made it to the children's stage, just in time for her show. (seems to be a pattern with us) You can see in the video, that she was looking all over the place for her Daddy. I am very sad to report he did not make it to the performace, and she was completely heartbroken.
